I hit another impasse today. I had completed all availble quests that didn't require heroes, and the two remaining that did required Melloni and Koss - the two heroes that I had not yet equipped. 4 of the available quests required Koss and 1 required Melloni so I opted to equip Koss.
Once again I did not have anywhere near enough money to buy his basic equipment and once again I had to dip into storage to avoid breaking the no farming rule. This time it was only for a 5k top up thankfully.
On the upside, 14 days in I did pick up MY FIRST PURPLE DROP!!! I thought this was pretty bad till I recalled to my very first time though prophesies and I got my first purple drop in Maguma which took twice as long to reach. The lovely thing is, with nightfall's drop system this R10 Purple barbed axe is inscibable and max damage so its practically as good as a crafted item, provided I can find an inscription of course :)
