I reached the docks and max armour today... unfortunately I didn't have enough gold to get even a single piece. With the looming cost of armour, I played with the same build as I used yesterday too (dullsville!).
I still have a few quests on newbie island which cover some of the cost, but I'm highly doubtful I'll have the requisite equipment to do the mainland by the time I reach it... but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
